EverHome Markham releases North Block suites, construction starts this year
EverHome Markham is a community focused on sustainability with a goal to achieve LEED® SILVER Certification. It offers purchasers one-level and two-level style condominiums in Markham’s beautiful Berczy Village neighbourhood.
The development by The Sher Corporation was launched in February of this year and has been a tremendous success with purchasers. Designed by Kohn Architects, EverHome Markham consists of an eight-storey, mid-rise building fronting onto McCowan Road and two five-storey low-rise buildings at the rear. Exteriors boast contemporary architecture characterized by expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, a neutral colour palette of modern materials with contrasting pops of colour, and sleek glass balconies.
The residence offers 77 suites along with main level retail. The two low-rise buildings feature 13 single-level suites, and 41 two-level suites with full-width private garden patios or large rooftop terraces with gas bib connections for barbecuing.
Inside, each home features spacious, open-concept layouts with European design influences and urban flare. Spacious interiors flow freely from room to room and are complemented with nine-foot ceilings, wide plank laminate floors, and double-glazed low-E windows that allow for abundant natural light. The community features geothermal heating and cooling as its main energy source. A rainwater harvesting system will be used to irrigate parts of the courtyard, reducing stormwater runoff and decreasing the burden on the City’s existing drainage system.
